Day 47

Every time we drive past the "Point of the Mountain" we see lots of hang gliders up at the top, swinging and swaying along the ridge.  Sometimes they will meander down to the bottom of the mountain in a long, lazy flight.  Yesterday, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day we were having and grabbed a Subway sandwich to take with us and we headed over to the ridge to watch these guys for awhile.  To our surprise, we found a fabulous State Run-Flight Park at the top of the ridge.  There were perhaps a dozen people up there weaving back and forth.  It was a great way to relax and unwind from a hectic week.  We would love to go back in the summer and just sit and watch all the beautiful gliders come and go.  It's a lot like the kite festival we went to last year at Antelope Island.  Peaceful.
