Last fall, just before the snow started falling, we took a short drive up into Lambs Canyon. We had never actually driven to the very end of this state maintained road before and was surprised to see that the road was blocked off by a private gate. The road continued further but had become a private driveway for a small enclave of houses. It was a pleasant enough drive back into the canyon about 20+ miles, but now we know that it's also a dead end.
